In 2025, at Equinor’s Njord Field, we demonstrated a major milestone:
A subsea drone completed 240 days of uninterrupted operation, including 280 fully autonomous dockings and wireless recharges via our Subsea Docking Station (SDS)—a world record for resident systems.
No connectors. No crew. Just continuous, intelligent subsea operations.
Our SDS is designed on the foundation of open innovation and cross-vendor standardisation, enabling plug-and-play compatibility—like a universal charging station for underwater drones.
From heavy-duty ROVs in offshore oil & gas to micro-AUVs in aquaculture, the flexibility and scalability of inductive power transfer is redefining what’s possible beneath the waves.
